Bobbie McAdoo |
I have a
wonderful family, one brother and two
sisters. My mom and dad have always
supported me through everything I have done.
I graduated from Tom Bean High School in
1975 and received a full basketball
scholarship to Tyler Jr.College and Sam
Houston State University. After graduating
from SHSU,
I worked as an Assistant Basketball Coach
for one year for SHSU. I was Head Basketball
and Track Coach at Allen High School for the
next two years. I moved back to Tom Bean
and have been teaching here since 1983. I
was head coach for Basketball, Softball, and
Track for 17 years at Tom Bean. I have had
individuals and teams that have participated
at state finals in Basketball, Softball, and
Track. I have been married to Wendyl
McAdoo since 1981. I have one son Russell, a
stepdaughter, and one stepson. My hobbies
include anything outdoors and sport
related.
/Philosophy of teaching
My
Philosophy of Education is simple. I
believe that ALL students regardless of
race, ethnicity, socio-economic status,
religious background, and/or any other
classification are deserving of a wholistic
education. This wholistic approach would
include an education that will allow them to
fully discover themselves, their strengths
and weaknesses, and benefit from necessary
real world/real life instruction. This type
of approach would expose students to
cultures and experiences that they otherwise
would not have the opportunity to
encounter.
My philosophy includes a lot of LOVE,
PATIENCE, KINDNESS, and TIME!
