Flint Weed is a graduate of Robert E Lee High School located in Midland, Tx. After earning a Bachelors degree in Music Education from West Texas A&M University, Flint joined the family at Tom Bean Middle School in 2006. In 2008 Flint started his own music camp company, Valiant Marching Band Concepts and is also currently working on his Masters degree in Music Education from Texas A&M University- Commerce. Flint is married and has 3 cats and a dog.  

Philosophy of teaching

I believe educating our youth is the most important task given to us as adults. In this charge, we should be striving to build strong citizens, hard workers, and a more hopeful future for our great country. As a music teacher I have many opportunities to reach the young minds in our school system. These include teamwork, dedication, discipline, and most importantly….FUN! I feel very fortunate to have a daily influence on the students of Tom Bean ISD.
