I am a lifelong resident of Honey Grove, Texas having graduated from high school in 1990.  I furthered my education at Paris Junior College having graduated from there in 1993 with an Associate in Science degree.  In 1996, I graduated from East Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in education. My husband Brad and I live on a farm where we raise Bore goats as a hobby.  We have a son, Gervie, who attends Tom Bean Middle School.  In my “spare time” I enjoy reading, watching tv, sports, and working outside. 

Philosophy of teaching

Teaching is a lifelong process of learning about new ideas and new strategies. Learning from the parents and community, learning from colleagues, and especially learning from the children.  Children have taught me to open my mind and my heart to the diversity of ideas in the world.
