I grew up in Garland, TX and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from East Texas State University in 1992.  I have been married 35 years, have one daughter and one son, and have been blessed with grandchildren to enjoy.  My hobbies include golf, music, reading, and playing with my grandchildren.

 Philosophy of teaching

 I believe all students can learn and should receive the necessary instruction to enable them to develop to their optimum social, physical, emotional, moral, and intellectual level.  The learning experiences should develop problem-solving and decision-making skills to enable them to become responsible, contributing, intelligent and functioning citizens in our society.  

 

I recognize the intrinsic worth of the individual student and believe he/she should feel accepted, successful, and part of the class activities.
