I am married with two children. I have a step son who is currently in the Marines and stationed at Camp Pendleton, in California.  He and his wife gave us our first grandchild on July 15, 2010.

 I attended Texas Tech University and graduated from The University of North Texas.

I am beginning my 7th year of teaching at Tom Bean Middle School.

I am a Christian and attend Sherman Bible Church.

 I believe teaching should be fun and educational at the same time.  I also believe that if students like their teacher, they will work harder and achieve more.  Because of this, I try to make each child feel special and loved.  I provide a safe environment for them to excel. I require respect from the students and in return, I respect them.
