I am a graduate of Tom Bean High School and East Texas State University with a double major in mathematics and English.

I taught all levels of mathematics and freshman through junior English at Tom Bean High School from 1985 to 1996.

 In 1996 I left the teaching profession to travel with my husband.

In 2005 I returned to the teaching profession.

I am presently teaching learning lab at Tom Bean Middle School.
