I graduated from Whitewright High School in 2004, and then graduated from Texas A&M – Commerce in 2007 with a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies.  I am married to Justin, who teaches Honors Chemistry and Earth Science in Anna.  We have a daughter, Taryn, who was born in May of 2010.  We also have two dogs and four cats.  My hobbies are drag racing, shopping and hanging out at home with my family. 

 My philosophy of teaching is based on one quote from Helen Keller.  “Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement, nothing can be done without hope and confidence.”  I believe that every student has the ability to learn and I, as a teacher, will be there to show them that they can achieve excellence.  Showing them that I have faith in them, will allow them to do great things.
